Humans
The scent of coffee stirs the mice from the street,
tiptoeing from their busy lives and apartment buildings,
scanning high and low across the dull atmosphere,
their timid eyes are bewildering.
Pushing, crawling like silent serpents,
slipping through passages and
winding around each other,
they constrict each other with great turbulence
The competition is wild,
rumaging
tossing
squeezing
not breathing
running
faltering
slowing
now leaving,
Have they done well?
the judge treads up the stairs,
scowl on her face
the perfect being
the bitter judgement,
the little mice are always foreseeing.
These little mice are somewhat human
don't you think?
scurrying,
dieing,
eating
..rebirth
They are,
a great metaphor for this untimely Earth.
They hold on to life like we do,
We all clutch to the brink..

Just a little peak of some of the poetic techniques I use, and how I like to write and think about things. Here are some words which I thought should be explained so you understand the meanings.
TURBULENCE: the quality or state of being turbulent; violent disorder or commotion.
UNTIMELY: happening too soon or too early; premature: his untimely demise.
BRINK: a crucial or critical point, esp. of a situation or state beyond which success or catastrophe occurs:

Okay now for my formal Introduction
Hello and welcome to my blog. :)
I decided I should start one since, well you can never have too many sites like facebook or myspace, why not add one more? Plus, there's none of that indecent writing that I'm exposed to on such sites. [English Nazi (in training) ]
I'll start with My name, well since I can't really give out my name on the internet or other people associated with me like friends, family and my partner I will use nicknames for everyone. Much like how Karisma does. Because her daughter is my partner and I don't want to give out any information so I'll just go along with those names. Including my own. [Barbie]
On my blog, I will talk about things like school, gossip, ( hopefully that keeps everyone entertained, I know it keeps me entertained ;] ) bits and pieces of my writing such as poems and short stories etc etc, pictures of things I adore, silly ramblings and possibly some smartass comments or opinions/views on things. :3

Welcome to blogland Barbie, great poem! Now if you could just make your writing a little bigger, old folks like me cannot see it so well! LOL! Especially the word meanings there, they are like for mice!
